Thank you for taking part in this study which is conducted by EdComs, an education research agency, on behalf of Activity Alliance. As a thank you for taking part, you will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win one of the 4 £25 Amazon e-vouchers. The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete and includes a section for you and your child or the young person you care for.
Why are we conducting this research?
Activity Alliance would like to understand more about perceptions and experiences of physical activity among disabled and non-disabled young people who are in school years 1 to 11 aged 5-16. We are also interested in hearing from parents of children who have just left year 11. They will use the findings to help understand and represent young people and their families' views about being active. Your views and experiences will help us to advocate for change, and get more people involved in sport and activity.
How did we find your contact details?
We are contacting you through an online panel or through an organisation or charity which you are connected to.
What does the survey include?
The survey includes questions about your and your child's physical activity, as well as questions about any health conditions, impairments or illnesses that your child might have. The first section is for you to complete, then there are a few questions we would like you and your child to answer together, and to finish with there are a few questions for your child to answer by themselves, if they are able to.
